Tarnita Lake is really close to Cluj and you can get there in half an hour by car. The lake is surrounded by a nice and quiet forest, so it is a great place for those in search of shade and fresh air. There is also a hotel next to the lake and there you can go and eat some fresh food. I recommend the trout, it’s really tasty, although it comes from a farm and not a mountain river.
